투트아르드(TootArd)는 이스라엘이 점령한 시리아의 골란 고원의 신성한 산악 마을 마즈달 샴스(Majdal Shams) 출신이다. 아랍 선법으로 알려져 있는 쿼터톤(Quatertone) 멜로디를 댄서블하고 중독적인 팝 사운드로 재해석하여 80년대 중동의 댄스 플로어를 오마주한다. 현재는 유럽에 거주하며, 레트로하고 훵키한 시그니처 리듬을 통해 지역적, 음악적 편견을 가볍게 지워버리며 세상의 모두가 즐길 수 있는 음악을 선보인다.
