전통예술을 기반으로 다양한 장르의 예술가들과 협업하는 창작 그룹, 리퀴드사운드. 전통연희를 해체하고 재조립해, 전자음악과 현대무용이라는 도구로 새로운 무대를 만든다. 상모와 부포, 전통 악기와 복식 등 익숙한 요소들이 낯선 방식으로 풀려나가고, 연희자의 몸은 악기이자 도구가 되어 전통의 장단과 동작을 재구성한다. 다양한 매체와의 결합을 통해 전통을 오늘의 감각으로 꺼내는 리퀴드사운드는 무대 위에서 전통과 현대를 엮으며, 완전히 새로운 감각을 제안한다.
Liquid Sound is a creative collective that collaborates with artists across various genres, working at the intersection of traditional Korean performance and contemporary art. By deconstructing and reassembling yeonhee—Korean traditional performance—they create new stages using tools like electronic music and modern dance. The performers’ bodies become both instruments and mediums, reconstructing traditional rhythms and gestures. Through collaborations across different media, Liquid Sound brings tradition into the present, weaving past and present into a completely new sensory experience.
