효도앤베이스는 서울에서 활동 중인 삼인조 인디 밴드이다. 기본적으로 개러지, 혹은 포스트펑크 성향의 락밴드로서 테잎 머신을 이용한 DIY 원테이크 레코딩을 지향하며 역사적으로 대유행한 사운드들을 빌려 단순히 옛 감성에 머무르는 것이 아닌 대한민국 서울에서 한글로 쓴 정신나간 가사와 함께 2021년에 걸맞는 새로운 감성으로 표현하는 밴드이다.
Hyodo and BASS is a three-member indie band working in Seoul. Fundamentally, they are a rock band with post-punk tendencies, pursuing DIY one-take recording using a tape machine. While borrowing sounds that were widely popular historically, the band expresses them with fresh sensitivity befitting 2021, along with insane lyrics written in Hangeul in Seoul, Republic of Korea rather than simply keeping the old sentiments.
