방콕 밴드 키키(KIKI)는 2021년 코로나19로 인한 록 다운 기간에 예전 밴드 동료 사이였던 '보스(Boss)'와 '논(Non)'에 의해 결성되었다. 여기에 두 사람의 홈 스튜디오에 초대되었다가 싱어송라이터로서의 재능을 발견한 ‘헬렌(Helen)’이 보컬로 함께 하고 있다. 세 멤버는 얼터너티브 록, 팝, 펑크에 대한 음악적 관심을 공유하며, 그루비한 베이스 라인과 다채로운 신디사이저, 힙합, 그리고 로파이 요소를 결합해 노래를 작곡한다. 키키는 독특한 사운드로 인해 라이브로 꼭 봐야할 떠오르는 밴드로 주목받기 시작했으며, 전세계 청중과 비평가들로부터 찬사를 받고 있다.

KIKI, the Bangkok-based band, was formed by ex-bandmates— “Boss” and “Non” during the Covid19 lockdown in 2021. Two friends invited “Helen” to collaborate on this project at their home studio where Helen discovered her talent as a singer-songwriter for the first time. The group shared musical interests in alternative rock, pop, and funk, and started composing their first batch of songs combined with groovy bass lines, colorful synthesizers, hip hop, and lo-fi elements. The unique sounds made the group become one of the up-and-coming bands everyone should see live. KIKI gained a positive reputation and received critical acclaim from the audiences and critics from around the world.
